Feedback:-
The project was very well organised and Martha and Emily-May were always on time, well prepared and flexible when it came to the weekly sessions.
They worked and interacted with the children very well, they were quick to understand the children’s needs and abilities and considered them well throughout the project and they were not afraid to be hands on with the children either.
The sessions were fun and interactive and Martha and Emily-May took in to account the parts of the sessions the children really liked and were happy to repeat them if requested.
The range of different instruments and music the children were given the chance to listen to and experiment with were new and interesting and all the children especially liked the African music and the didgeridoo.
Martha and Emily-May worked really well on developing the children’s rhythm and beat playing skills.
The children were given time to respond in their own way, for example to questions and when playing instruments, and all responses were welcomed and appreciated and the children were given relevant feedback and praise immediately.
The aims for the sessions were well thought about and relevant to the individual children and the group and were worked towards well in the sessions. They were then evaluated appropriately and detailed feedback was provided.
We would be very keen to work on another similar project in the future.
